Welcome to KLM Dutch Orange Day. The DOD committee invites you to join us on Sunday 26th of April 2015 at Queensbridge Square in the Melbourne CBD to celebrate the Dutch King’s birthday with lots of activities and fun for the whole family. The festival, which is in its eleventh year, kicks off at 10.30 am and will showcase Dutch culture, yummy Dutch food (such as herring, poffertjes and stroopwafels) entertainment for young and old and much, much more. Come dressed in orange, the national colour of The Netherlands!
KLM has offered a return ticket to Amsterdam, so put in your best bid at the auction page. All proceeds will go to Dutchcare Ltd, an aged care provider which operates in Victoria.
We are always looking for volunteers (no need to be able to speak Dutch) so if you feel inspired please send us a message.
I look forward to seeing you there.

On Sunday 26th of April (2015), we will celebrate the 11th edition of Dutch Orange Day (DOD) at Queensbridge Square, Melbourne. The previous 10 editions were wonderful due to the assistance of the many volunteers. We wish to thank them again for their contributions. The eleventh Dutch Orange Day is again in need of volunteers.
If you or your friends (you don’t have to be Dutch) are interested in helping to plan, organise and manage this event, please send a brief email to firstname.lastname@example.org outlining your interests and experiences.
Don’t forget to include your contact details (phone, email).
We look forward to hear from you!
See you at Queenbridge Square
Melbourne – 26 April 2015
Dutch Orange Day 2015 will take place on 26 April 2015 at Queensbridge Square on Southbank in Melbourne. Come down on Public Transport or do it the Dutch way and come on your bike!
Talking about bicycles, did you know that Dutch Cargo Bike has a new website? They import a huge range of cargo bikes (bakfietsen), as well as commuter bikes and accessories.
Check them out at www.dutchcargobike.com.au. Both websites for Dutch Cargo Bike and Dutch Orange Day were developed by Scout Studio, a web and graphic design studio based in North East Victoria. If your organisation is after a new website, app or identity, make sure to contact Scout Studio for a chat.
